An exciting new exterior and interior look, designed by Randall-Paulson Architects, has brought this hotel up-to-date with a fresh, contemporary style.
The exterior has been modernized through a new polycarbonate entry canopy roof that will bring in natural light. The former hotel roof is also updated through the extension of roof overhangs supported by wood brackets for added interest. Along the exterior walls, designers established rhythm through regular repetition of the roof extensions. The addition of a glass pavilion with a retractable roof and an indoor swimming pool replaces the former exterior pool for year-round enjoyment.
The public areas of the interior take on some of the exterior characteristics with a fall palette in a variety of colors and materials such as rust and greens, and brushed aluminum accents. A new double height fireplace lends visual warmth and interest and complements the two story atrium. Other upscale touches include dark toned millwork with frosted glass cabinets and flatscreen televisions mounted on matching piers.
Newly redesigned spaces include lobby, reception, kitchen and breakfast area, offices, conference rooms, fitness room, and a retail store.
