Bethany Primitive Baptist Church
Forsyth County, Georgia • 11,810sf

This church has a distinguished history of worship and community that reaches back to 1926, first in Atlanta, then in Tucker, and now in Forsyth County, Georgia. Randall-Paulson Architects was awarded design of a new Sanctuary and Fellowship facility for the congregation’s beautiful semi-rural site.

The building styling is a blend of gothic and craftsman features that utilize brick masonry and stone accents. A light tower near the entry provides a welcome glow to passersby on the street beyond.

The plan is a highly efficient layout that incorporates Gathering Space, Sanctuary, Fellowship and Pastor’s Suite. The light-filled Sanctuary seats over 250 people in fixed pews in a radial arrangement around the pulpit. A flexible room off the Gathering Space can be used by brides or to help with young children.

Future plans include development of an outdoor courtyard accessed from the Fellowship Room.
