Husky Injection
Molding Systems
Technical Center

Peachtree City, GA • 16,000 sf

Randall-Paulson Architects provided architetural and interior design services for this new build-to-suit facility for Husky Injection Molding Systems.

The building serves as the Southeastern showroom and training center for Husky manufacturing equipment. The building, designed of corrugated precast concrete panels, includes the following spaces:
   • Manufacturing showroom for
      display and training
   • Mezzanine to house support
      equipment
   • Administrative areas

The double-volume showroom area is used for demonstrations and to train users in the operation of Husky manufacturing equipment. This area features color-coded mechanical systems, a 50-ton crane and 8,000-pound freight elevator for moving heavy machinery.

The single-story office areas of the building are enclosed in dark green, reflective spandrel glass which contrasts with the raw concrete of the manufacturing facility. The front entrance of the building features a covered drop-off area.

The project included space planning of the administrative areas including reception area, enclosed offices, open-plan offices, workout room, and restrooms with showers.
