Randall-Paulson Architects worked with ARCO Design/Build Construction Company to complete this pharmaceutical packaging facility for Wheaton USA, a subsidiary of Alcan, Inc.
The facility has private and open office areas, meeting rooms, contract packaging clean rooms, a carton manufacturing area, warehouse, and shipping and receiving areas.
The exterior design incorporates the use of precast concrete wall panels on a steel
frame, architectural metal panel system and a glass curtain wall system that gives
the building a clean and refined appearance. Working with Lessard Design of Montreal, RPA was able to address the unique interior office layout and assist in the development of spaces such as the two-story lobby. The focal point of the office area is the custom circular staircase from which all the surrounding areas radiate.
