The Village Center at WindMark Beach is an exciting street of signature mixed-use retail and residential buildings. A key tenant space has been designed for a café/bar that expresses the contemporary beach atmosphere of this beach resort town.
Working as Project Architect of Record, Randall-Paulson produced the construction documents and details for the café’s bar, pizza oven and bar, casual seating areas, stage, dining room, private dining room, retail space, and kitchen.
Materials in this chic yet relaxing environment include pecky cypress siding, stained concrete, galvanized metal, copper, stone tile, glass mosaic tile, black iron steel, cypress ceiling joists, and wood lap siding.
Careful attention was paid to acoustic isolation of the space from the residential units above and control of the sunlight at west-facing glazing. Lighting was designed to meet the strict restrictions for protection of the sea turtles.
