Founded in 1924, American Heart Association’s goal is to reduce disability and death from cardiovascular disease and stroke. In order to support that mission, the non-profit organization continues to grow and open new facilities. Randall-Paulson Architects designed AHA’s Atlanta distribution and service point, which serves as an information and fund raising center.
The one-story office expresses a conventional feel with brick veneer over a steel frame. A curvilinear wall earmarks the entryway and creates visual interest.
The interior spaces include open office areas for sales, technology, finance and focus groups, a President’s Hall with an after hours meeting facility, and a break room that opens onto an outdoor brick patio, allowing employees to enjoy their lunches and breaks al fresco.
