Randall-Paulson Architects executed the exterior design and site adaptation for this single story childcare center in
Norcross, Georgia.
The goal of the design was to create an exterior skin for the building that would be appealing to both children and parents. The facade blends a variety of building materials to achieve an appearance that is playful and colorful.
The building’s exterior skin was designed around a prototypical interior layout that includes a kitchen, offices, infirmary, and a multipurpose room with a “village” theme that is used as a theater, exercise area, and computer room.
The facility accommodates children from infants through kindergarten and after-school care for older children.
