Randall-Paulson Architects’ design for the Atlanta-based corporate headquarters of United Distributors, Inc. consists of 335,000 sf of distribution with 35,000 sf office space.
Cut granite stone veneer, glass, and custom fabricated aluminum framing line the front of the executive-sales portion of United Distributors’ corporate headquarters. These three elements blend extremely well with the precast concrete exterior of the warehouse situated behind the office. They help to set this facility apart from what may be considered the typical office/distribution center appearance.
The warehouse includes operation offices for beer, wine and liquor, and a three-story mezzanine with a fully mechanized material handling system for wine and liquor. The beer operations includes 40,000 sf of refrigerated cooler space as well as a three-lane drive-thru
for the loading and unloading of delivery trucks. Lord Aeck & Sargent served as design consultants.
RPA is currently providing interior design services for an office expansion and renovation.
