Randall-Paulson Architects designed this office/distribution facility for Majestic Realty as a build-to-suit for their tenant Kellogg Company.
Kellogg's facility serves as an office/distribution facility and handles an estimated 200 trucks per day. In addition to the 903,000 sf of warehouse space, RPA designed the 6,000 sf office element including conference rooms, private and open offices, and a break room.
The building is comprised of load-bearing, tilt-up concrete walls and a steel joist roof system.
The corner office is highlighted on the exterior by "fin" panels that project from the building. Contrasting piers also give
strength and depth to the facade. Aluminum sunshades add texture through their play of light and shadow and they screen the large areas of glazing in the office from the southern and western sun.
