The challenge of this project was to transform a former warehouse into a contemporary environment appropriate for a high-tech, digital photography studio.
Randall-Paulson Architect’s design took advantage of the building’s exposure with its continuous storefront and thirty-five mile per hour drive-by traffic to showcase the unusual gallery. A yellow stained birch panel wall provides a dramatic backdrop for the large photographs that are suspended from the ceiling.
Once inside, the design utilizes an avenue that connects the entry with the studio. The avenue also divides the reception and gallery from the workspace which includes the studio, dressing/makeup room, kitchen, private offices, and graphic design stations.
