The new flagship for Cummins in the United States commands attention with a striking entry canopy and a double-height reception area. This build-to-suit manufacturing and distribution facility, located in the Charleston region, aims to meet the turbocharger producer’s strategy of expanding its worldwide capacity. The new facility is expected to expand Cummins’ capacity by 200,000 units per year.
Enhanced through curtainwall and storefront glass on the office portion of the building, this pre-cast concrete building features an architectural canopy and incorporates the company’s red and gray corporate identity colors.
Spaces inside the state-of-the-art facility include a lobby, offices, conference rooms, break rooms, and server rooms. Randall-Paulson Architects completed design for both the interior and exterior of this stand-alone facility.
