CrÈme de la CrÈme
Various Locations • ±19,000 sf

Randall-Paulson Architects planned and designed this unique childcare center that includes a variety of activities intended to stimulate and strengthen the development of the children’s natural ability and creativity. The facility accommodates children from infancy to kindergarten, with after-school care for children up to nine years of age.

The interior design features a variety of child-sized “theme” spaces arranged around an “interior street”. The building’s interior features include:
   • Jungle theater with palm trees and
      play area
   • Activity rooms with gingerbread-
      detailed store fronts
   • Exercise/dance room
   • Individual classrooms
   • Clerestory windows for natural
      lighting
   • Built-in aquarium and playful
      painted murals.

The center is supported by administrative offices, a kitchen, laundry, infirmary, and reception area. To ensure safety, the center is equipped with keypad entry systems, and all areas of the building are monitored via closed circuit television.

Playground details include:
   • Outdoor water park
   • Trike garage and “gas station”
   • Covered play area and large sand
      play area.
