Building Design & Construction

In Marietta, Ga., construction is under way on an 84,400 sf performing arts facility. Serving both students of the adjacent Mt. Paran Christian School campus and the local community, Dozier Center for the Performing Arts will feature an intimate 400-seat music hall, two ballet studios, a jazz/tap studio, and a 2,250 sf black box theater. The three-story building will include facilities for audio and video recording, editing, and the production of programs for the local school community. A 5,600 sf grand lobby was designed as a multipurpose gathering place. The Building Team includes Randall-Paulson Architects of Roswell, Ga., as project architect, New York City-based Walters-Storyk Design Group for acoustical and theater design, and Ferry, Hayes & Allen of Atlanta for interior design.
