ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oakmont Industrial Group has acquired 75 acres of industrial land on New Berlin Road in Jacksonville, Florida, for the establishment of a new port logistics hub, dubbed “NorthPort Logistics Center.” The transaction marks Oakmont’s entry into the Jacksonville market with plans for an 849,042-square-foot bulk distribution building. Oakmont will break ground on the project in mid-September with delivery scheduled for summer 2009.
