A new Family Dollar distribution center, designed by Randall-Paulson Architects, held its opening ceremony on November 12 in Odessa, Texas with speeches by David Alexander, the President and CEO, and Lieutenant Governor David H. Dewhurst. Tours of the facilities allowed guests to glimpse the miles of conveyors and equipment necessary for the center, which plans to ship and receive 300,000 cartons per day and service over 800 stores throughout the Southeastern US.
