Eco-Friendly Office Renovation
When deciding how to handle an increasing need for space for a growing architectural staff, Randall-Paulson Architects was faced with two options: buy property and build a new space or expand on existing historic facilities. The firm ultimately chose character and stayed in their home in the Roswell Mill, a former textile mill re-adapted into a unique contemporary office space. The choice to stay put, lessoning the environmental impact of new construction, was one of many that supported the firm’s sustainable outlook.

Cottage School
Building on its collaboration with The Cottage School, Randall-Paulson’s design for a fourth project on this private middle and high school campus serves the athletic needs of its students. RPA’s design for an 15,100 sf gymnasium will be a multi-use space which includes a game court for basketball and volleyball, 350 spectator seats, a stage for assemblies and performance productions, and two cross courts for PE and sports practice.

Cardinal Health Wins First Place
RPA has been awarded a first place award in the industrial category of the American Concrete Institute’s 2007 Dan R. Brown Awards Competition for design of the 372,359 square foot Cardinal Health regional office and distribution facility that opened in Buford, Ga., last year.
