Sprayberry Square is an exciting new 133,000 sf redevelopment located in an affluent suburb of Atlanta, GA. Originally built in 1989, this center was in need of updating. As part of the renovation plans, DLC demolished the former grocery tenant and used the 53,000 square feet of new space to construct a new state-of-the-art LA Fitness facility.
LA Fitness, a premier health club facility, opened for business as the new anchor of the 133,000 square foot redevelopment of Sprayberry Square in Marietta, GA on the very busy intersection of East Piedmont and Sandy Plains.
As the architects of this re-development, RPA reconfigured the parking lot, redesigned the parking lot lighting, signage and two monument signs at the center, and completely renovated the façade to coordinate with the existing character of the center and also to fit with LA Fitness prototype standards.
Other renovations included a 1,540 sf contiguous existing retail front façade & canopy renovation, 7,857 sf black box retail, added parapets, canopies, and EIFS detailing for updated look.
