Randall-Paulson Architects provided full architectural services for the building shell of this office furniture and workplace solutions provider. The facility serves several purposes: corporate office, showroom, warehouse, and distribution center.
To accommodate these various functions, separate entrances and parking are provided for showroom visitors. The architectural focus of the building is the showroom entrance with its dramatic 2-story curved bronze metal canopy. The 35,000 sf showroom features various office system layouts and serves as the administrative office space for DeKalb Office Environments.
The rear of the building features a 90,000 sf warehouse and distribution center with separate entrance for employees. The climate controlled warehouse has 10 dock doors and the racking system provides 250,000 sf of storage.
