Windmark Town Hall
Port St. Joe, Florida • 3,040 sf

Designed for weddings, meetings, and social gatherings, this facility includes a 2,430 sf multipurpose “Town Hall” and a 610 sf “Grab and Go” café, connected by landscaped courtyard space.

Randall-Paulson Architects served as Architect of Record, producing construction documents and details for the interior design, as well as assisting on permitting.

Casual elegance characterizes the Town Hall space, driven by floor to ceiling windows that cast natural light over the room. Dramatically patterned linear wood floors maintain the same visual rhythm as the windows and the double-height roof with exposed steel trusses creates a loft-like aesthetic. To take advantage of the large space and tall ceilings, oversized pendant fixtures with parchment shades were chosen to bring visual interest. The feel is completed by using exposed walnut plank paneling at the entrance which is mirrored on the opposite wall.

RPA also coordinated the operable reed shades, oversized ceiling fans, and full-height contemporary draperies.
