The design for Rome’s new main post office was one of several projects completed during Randall-Paulson Architects’ ongoing contract with the United States Postal Service.
The USPS maintains prototypical standards for each of their post office facilities, including a standard interior. A custom brick pattern and vertical tower define the entry, provide a focal point, and compliment the horizontal expression of the building.
Space configured for the Rome post office includes a retail lobby, administrative offices, a workroom, and support spaces.
