Robins Air Force Base
Building 255
Office Space

Warner Robins, Georgia • 6,000 sf

This project is a collaborative design-build effort for a renovation to Building 255 at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia. The scope involves renovating approximately 6,000 sf of warehouse area for requirements of the 787th Installation Acquisition Group and administrative support functions into finished office space. Spaces include Source Selection Rooms, a Squadron Chief office, and staff workstations.

In addition to the renovation project, space planning services for the Command Section and Small Business suites are also being provided. The space planning involves designing a layout with available space in an existing administration area efficiently and economically.

The Air Force provided requirements and needs in paragraph form, which we developed into a space program. The original program was approximately 60% larger than the space that was available for renovation. We worked with the Air Force and gave them multiple schemes with different scenarios to fit into the existing space. Then due to Government funding issues, the scope was further reduced. After a space plan was completed, we had to incorporate new furniture layouts due to internal Air Force operational changes.
