The Cottage School is a private school for students in grades six through twelve whose educational needs require individualized attention in a structured setting. The school is located overlooking the Chattahoochee River on a heavily wooded site.
Randall-Paulson Architects’ design for the school includes three new 3,600 sf cottage classroom buildings and a 10,000 sf addition/renovation project to the administrative building. The addition to the administrative building includes a media center, dining hall, and expanded offices.
The school is designed around a multi-building campus. Each cottage has 4 to 5 classrooms that serve approximately 10 students each.
The scale allows for additions on the campus within Roswell’s residential context and best utilizes this hilly site.
